Meet Gaz Brookfield - a solo acoustic musician based in Bristol.
Since
winning Acoustic magazine's 2010 Singer Songwriter of the year, he has
spent his time on the road, touring the UK and Europe.
In this time Gaz
has shared the stage with the likes of Levellers, Frank Turner, New
Model Army, Nick Harper, Newton Faulkner, Miles Hunt, and many more,
racking up over 1000 gigs to date.
He remains the only unsigned solo act to sell out The Fleece in Bristol - a feat he has achieved four times, with the last two times selling out 6 months in advance.
Gaz continues
to relentlessly tour the UK and beyond, often playing as many as 200
gigs a year - proving that the "journey-man" title is more than just a
simple metaphor - and we look forward to welcoming him back to the Festival this year.
