Dart Music Festival - performance updates 5

Moscow Drug Club

Moscow Drug Club - a curious musical place where certain elements of 1930’s Berlin Cabaret,
Hot Club de France, Nuevo Tango & Gypsy Campfire meet, combining their original material with songs by the likes of Jaques Brel, Leornard Cohen, Tom Waits & Bertolt Brecht, Moscow Drug Club provide an intoxicating & intimate musical experience.

Moscow Drug Club always provide an exciting musical experience and an entertaining night of performance that encourage audiences to sing and dance and go home with skip in their step and a smile in their heart….

Country singer/songwriter Nuala moved from her isolated village in rural South Australia to England in 2004. Determined to make a living from her music, she gigged tenaciously up and down the nation's pubs and folk clubs.
Not long after settling in Bristol, Nuala’s powerful, tender vocals and song writing began to attract attention. She was asked to write and perform lead vocals for Bristol legends Smerin’s Anti Social Club.
Later, celebrated fiddle player Aaron Catlow and double bassist Dorian Sutton asked her to form a band with them – the project that became the wildly popular Medicine Creek.

Rhuarri Joseph
Singer/songwriter Ruarri writes with purpose, perfecting an earthy, folk-leaning guitar style built on supple acoustic finger-picking and deep, warm vocals – a style that has earned him comparisons to Jack Johnson’s laid-back acoustic jams.

Visit his website for more info on his biography, musical achievements - and of course to hear some of his music!
