Dart Music Festival - performance updates 4

Jumping Out Duo

Jumping Out Duo entertain their audiences with a wide selection of music, including 50's and 60's goodtime jazz and some modern acoustic standards.

Their instruments include clarinet, tenor sax, acoustic guitar, electric guitar - and of course vocals.

Prepare to be delighted...

Lucky Guy and The Chancers

A professional 1950s style Rock'n'Roll/Rockabilly band based in the South West, Lucky Guy and The Chancers feature the outstanding vocals of Guy Maxson, playing an exciting set of 1950s classics and less well known numbers. The line up consists of vocals, guitar, double bass and drums.

The band is influenced by the Rock'n'Roll greats including Ricky Nelson, Johnny Burnette and the Rock'n'Roll Trio, and of course Elvis Presley and the great Scotty Moore, as well as some more up-to-date Rockabilly greats such as Big Sandy, J.D. Mcpherson, and the Go Getters.

Maggie Reeday

Maggie has been taking the country by storm with her jazz concerts, receiving rave reviews for her first CD "World on a String", and working with such luminaries as Dave Green, Paul Lacey, Craig Milverton and Roy Williams.

She has had a long and varied career, starting out as a resident singer in a local band and later appearing on a succession of ITV shows with Paul Daniels, Jim Davidson, Atomic Kitten and many more, and also appearing at a Royal Variety show at the London Palladium.

Her great sense of rhythm and natural ability to connect with her audiences has ensured repeat bookings wherever she plays..!

Medicine Creek

Medicine Creek are a foot stomping old time string band from Bristol.

The band specialise in rootsy bluegrass and alt-country, reinventing dark tales of murder and mayhem from frontier times with gospel-flavoured harmonies and violin abuse. Audiences are advised to sing loud and enjoy themselves!

Medicine Creek released their self-titled debut EP in March 2011.
