Friday 17th April 2015 - A Celebration of Youth
On
the Friday April 17th, you have the rare opportunity of listening to
some of our finest young performers who have come together to perform
works by Bach, Schubert, Vaughan Williams, Strauss to name but a few.
They include ...
Zoƫ Silkstone - Soprano. A second year English student at Robinson College, Cambridge and head soprano in the chapel choir.
Peter Norris - Baritone. Currently a member of The Rodolfus Choir led by Ralph Allwood with wide range of repertoire in both solo and choral singing.
Peter Oakley - Counter-Tenor. An alumni of the world famous King’s College Cambridge Choir and distinguished soloist.
Oliver El Holiby Counter-Tenor and Accompanist. As a solo recitalist, Oliver has performed in St George-in-the-East Church, London; St George the Martyr, Borough High Street; and in various venues in Cambridge, including West Road Concert Hall.
Felix Canetty Clarke - Marimba. Felix has produced opera and majored in marimba performance in his final year.
Jade Gall - Saxophone. A firm favourite at the Festival, Jade Alicia Gall a classical and jazz saxophonist graduated from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
Finan Jones - Bassoon. A 19-year-old bassoonist from London and he is involved in orchestral, chamber and solo playing.
Fionn Connolly - Violin. A Violinist, singer/songwriter and composer.

year’s stunning success when his debut album ‘Piano Reflections’ shot
straight to No. 1 in the UK Classical Chart.
He has now been awarded 'Album of
the Week' in January 2015 by Classic FM’s John Suchet for his newly-released second
album ‘Piano Encores’.
