Fundraising, Food, Fun - and Red Priest Tickets

GREAT FUNDRASISER - please read on...

Hello again - just to let you know about our recent fundraising event. A very enjoyable time was had by all at The Windjammer last Sunday when the extremely versatile and talented Porter Family entertained us with a fantastic selection of songs old and new. We've never seen such an array of instruments played so expertly by a family of five!

Big thanks as always to Andy, Mary and the rest of the Windjammer crew who fed (and watered...) us all very well with their lovely sausage and mash supper. The Porter Family are great supporters of the Dart Music Festival and the whole DMF team is very grateful for all they do for us - thanks to them and the Windjammer for helping to raise £387.50 for the Festival.

Sadly I couldn't find a photo of all the Porter Family together so I thought you might like to admire this rather fetching pic of the Windy instead! Let's hope the sun will be shining this brightly in May...

And now for Red Priest - tickets have just gone on sale at the Tourist Information Centre, so make sure you are not disappointed as at just £12 each they are bound to sell quickly and we'd hate for you to miss out. Here is a sneaky peek of them for you to be going on with, but for more info please visit their website:

That's all for now folks but I'll be back with more news very soon. Have a great weekend and I hope it's as warm and sunny where you are as it is in Dartmouth. Bye for now.

  3. Have just heard that Piers Adams - from Red Priest - has been asked to adjudicate in the final of the BBC Young Musician of the Year the day after the concert, and so has to be in Gateshead by 10am the next morning! Poor thing - I hope the audience will be gentle with him...
