For the first time this year, and to celebrate the eighteenth Dart Music Festival, we are introducing 'Find the Orchestra’ – a brand new 'fun for all the family' competition to help make the Festival even more enjoyable than it usually is (if that's possible..!)
This is how it works...
The competition will run over the weekend, with participating shops showing a yellow postcard in their window of a musical instrument - you then only need to write the instrument name taken from that card next to the shop name on the entry form.
Once all 42 instruments are found and entered, the form can be handed in to the Merchandise Tent in Avenue Gardens, along with your £1.00 entry fee, before midday latest on the last day of the Festival - Sunday the 17th May.
There are three cash prizes of £25, £15 and £10.
The winners will be announced at the Bandstand around 5.00pm on the Sunday. Make sure all your name details are completed in case you are not there in person to claim your prize.
Most of the shops in Dartmouth are looking forward to participating, and we are suggesting that they decorate their windows with a musical theme if possible – if we have enough shops taking part there will be a prize for the best shop window display!
