Alex Knight and Suki Tussler
The Appassionata Duo will be performing a programme of Baroque, Classical and
Romantic music that spans four centuries and will include some of their
own arrangements and original compositions drawn from their wealth of
experience touring nationally and internationally and providing music
for film and TV.
The programme will feature composers such as Bach,
Vivaldi, Handel, Albeniz, Faure, Piazzolla and others.
About SUKI...
Suki Tussler (also known as Suzannah Wray) is a flautist who lives and works in Totnes. She
trained at the world renowned Guildhall of Music in London and spent
the early part of her career playing in music societies all over London
as well as orchestral engagements in Spain and Portugal.
Suki has played
on albums which have sold all over the world and her playing featured
on the the national news theme in Japan for a year. Music from her
albums are widely played and downloaded everyday on Last FM in Europe as
well as in Korea and Japan.
About ALEX...
Alex is a solo guitarist as well as an accompanist. He has worked professionally in England for many years and performs regularly in concert both solo and accompanied. He has played to audiences in the Far East with highly successful concert tours in Japan and Korea in his guitar duo which involved performing on national radio in Korea.
He has worked with Suki for several years, performing as
well as working on projects for film and TV.
