Gary Quinn at Dart Music Festival

Described as having a cool modern sound with echoes of the past, Northern Irishman Gary Quinn is a singer-songwriter that knows how to pull on the heartstrings of his audiences.

Creating beautifully crafted lyrics, he draws you in with his performances of rock infused country balanced with the traditional.

Having just released his self titled debut album 'GARY QUINN', a 10 track offering of self penned material, Quinn’s songs can be heard on radio stations in his native Ireland, UK, America and Australia.

National recognition has already been received as a track from the album, ‘He Don’t Show Her Anymore’ was awarded ‘Song of the Year’ by the British Country Music Awards for 2013.

Gary recently performed on the prestigious Country2Country Pop-Up Stages at London's O2 Arena in March this year as part of the C2C Festival (largest Country Festivals Europe) headlined by Brad Paisley and the Zac Brown Band. In April Quinn will be joining Jace Everett when he opens for his Manchester date and the Summer will see Gary perform dates in Denmark and Germany. Gary is also a regular performer at the Belfast Nashville Songwriters Festival each year in Belfast.

In February last year Gary was asked to share the stage with Sugarland’s Kristian Bush and Hall of Fame Songwriter Bob DiPiero as part of the CMA Songwriter Series that visited Europe. Gary was also busy during the UK festival period appearing at the Americana International and Wolvestock Festivals with The Gary Quinn Band. This, coupled with sharing the stage with Billy Yates and opening for artists such as Jenn Bostic, Christian Kane and touring with Nikki Gillis, helped Gary bag himself a further nomination for 'Solo Act of the Year' by the BCMAwards and an invitation to perform at the awards taking place in London last November.

In March 2012 Gary was invited to perform at the Belfast Nashville Songwriter Showcase in Nashville and shared the stage with hugely successful songwriters Billy Montana and Pam Rose. Gary was back in Nashville in June 2012 as he was invited to sing at the prestigious CMA Global Artist Party and CMA Music Fest (in the past known as Fan Fair) in downtown Nashville. After performing with Nanci Griffith and opening for Gene Watson, Will Banister, Larry Gatlin, appearing at The Three Legs Festival (Isle of Man) and his continuing performances in the UK, Gary was nominated for 2 British Country Music Awards in 2012.

Gary has also opened for Collin Raye, Bill Anderson, Clint Black, Larry Gatlin and Gene Watson. He continues to write and perform all over the UK and further afield.
