Slapface and the Hoagies at Dart Music Festival

A four-piece skiffle/bluegrass/country and nonsense band from Bristol.

Between the four of us, we cover banjo, guitar, dobro, harmonica, double bass and snare drum and have great fun at the same time.

We made our Dartmouth debut at last year's festival and thoroughly enjoyed it - playing the Market Square in the day on Saturday followed by a slot at the Guildhall in the evening which will be repeated this year.

We draw our set list from bands like Old Crow Medicine Show, The Dodge Brothers, Ralph Stanley, Johnny Cash and Reverend Horton Heat and put our own slant on some well known songs.

Come and join us!

What the people say... Just a few of the band's testimonials - please visit their website for more

Not sure I’ve ever laughed as much at a gig…. Great music too!

I really enjoyed the gig last night, it was full of great music , good humour and brilliant banter..

Lots of talent and lots of fun - thanks guys!

SO GOOD! Thank you so much guys, hilarious people and awesome music…like does it get any          better??

On behalf of the festival committee may I thank you for your appearance at our little festival.  We particularly enjoyed your performance and hope that you enjoyed taking part and will consider returning in the future. (From unknown 'rival' Festival..!)

Full performance details in your DMF Programme - on sale now.

Because listening to music at Dart Music Festival is FREE - but running it is not! - we have to charge for the Programme.

The sales revenue is VITAL to the continuation of the Festival - thank you for understanding.
