On A Wire at Dart Music Festival - raising funds for The Umbrella Foundation

On A Wire - a rock/soul/folk duo originating in Sussex, with an eclectic range of influences that include Patsy Cline, Shovels and Rope, Nina Simone, The White Stripes, The Civil Wars, and many more.

On A Wire…

...are Hayley Slatter and Chris Keats, a duo from Sussex who explain themselves best in song.

With sets that range from ethereal heartbreak to defiant, toe tapping hooks, On A Wire continue to evolve their unique sound and style.

A busy gig and writing schedule in 2013 has showcased influences as diverse as Ella Fitzgerald, Daughter, Patsy Cline, Skip James and The White Stripes ensuring audiences are treated to a suitably rounded performance.

Growing support throughout London and the Southeast has led On A Wire to the studio in recent weeks with excitement building for their debut EP. Having built their fan base this year, On A Wire are planning to release their originals EP this summer.

This will be alongside a charity covers EP to raise money and awareness for The Umbrella Foundation in Nepal where they have just spent three months volunteering and teaching music.
